Autumn shell is the shell replacement for Windows operational system. Many fine skins for this application will make your desktor colorfull. Autumn Shell has more advanced interface and more original view than standard Windows shell. "Start" menu is designed as the panel that has more advanced features than standard menu: file management, program management, quick start for the most often used programs, installation-specific settings, which all collected in one place. The main menu is divided on sections and each of them could be minimized, if it is seldom used.

Task panel slightly differs from the standard task panel. Instead of a standard clock you could have a clock which let you to change size, style and font color, to set any time format. Application buttons on the task panel are stretched out all panel width, what lightens switching between programs. Autumn Shell includes a file manager. File manager is handy for using and has all tools for file operation. Unlimited amount of file manager windows could be opened at the same time and any of them could be fixed at the top of the screen, also they could be minimized.

Desktop of Autumn Shell also differs from a standard desktop. In the bottom of one, under the clock, you could see a calendar for current month. The desktop is divided to two parts. On the right part large programs icons are placed. They have standard size 32x32px. The left part of the screen has the thinner width and contains small programs icons. Seldom used programs icons can be moved to the left part for having more free space on a desktop.

General system settings (administration, control panel, devices dispatcher) are situated at one of the sections of the main menu.
