DiabloLabs Replicator is a utility for backing up content on your discs using a recordable CD-RW drive. The program doesn't work with all recorders, though it supports dozens of ATAPI, USB and Firewire devices. This is because the program only works by recording in RAW mode. This feature offers full control over the written data, and will bypass common reading errors and protections. Thus, DiabloLabs Replicator is able to produce 1:1 copies of CDs. You can use it to back-up audio and data CDs as well as mixed-mode, MP3 and bootable discs. Using the program is as easy as selecting the device that contains the content you want to clone. Then, you'll click a button to copy the data over to a blank disc. If you have only one CD-RW drive you may create a hard disk image. DiabloLabs Replicator includes an Image Manager for handling all your archived disc content; you can pick an item and prepare it immediately for recording.
DiabloLabs Replicator includes several options, including select-able writing speeds, optional burn proof technology and a test mode that you may try before burning. You can also choose a process priority for the best performance on your system. Unfortunately, you won't know if DiabloLabs Replicator will work for you until you download and try it. This shareware version limits to 3 successfully writing.
