It has web interface with the same look and functionality on the local and distant pcs. Customers see MPEG-4 coded video and have complete management of the program via network that surveillance computer can be operated with no monitor, keyboard, and mouse connected. Software`s modular structure significantly boosts reliability because all units act as independent programs. If one component stops working, other units continue running. For example if the `capture` module stops working, `watchdog` restarts it instantly that viewers don`t notice anything because they are viewing video using a `playback` part. The software does `repeated` recording that the `hard drive full` situation never appears. The recording can be non-stop or it can be activated by activity, human face detection, or by timetable. The program has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty easy and performs on the surveillance pc as well as on distant station using Web interface. The program makes synchronized video playback for event examination from multiple cameras concurrently. Also recorded data can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded files can be encrypted and password protected.
