MarbleSaic is a screen saver creator for all 32bit versions of Windows. With MarbleSaic, making an original screen saver could hardly be easier. In this program, simply place virtual 'marbles' in a 'mosaic' pattern, hence the name, MarbleSaic. These mosaics can be up to 40x30 marbles! But wait, there's more! Each drawing can be made up of up to 16 'slices'. The slices act like flipbook pages, and can yield interesting effects when used as a screen saver. The MarbleSaic suite contains three programs: the editor, the screen saver, and a distribution wizard. The MarbleSaic editor is an extremely user-friendly editor that makes creating screen savers a breeze. With its eight integrated tools, no design is more than 30 to 40 minutes away. The editor easily navigates through the document, and it can preview the designs in a small format that lets you see all the included slices at once. The Screen Saver module is the core of the suite. This is a small 700kb screen saver that will display any MarbleSaic document with one of four effects. The effects are different than any other screen saver available today. The Wave effect shows each slice like it was a wave, rushing forward then dropping off the screen. The Drop effect shows the slices slowly dropping off the bottom of the screen. Scroll displays each slice scrolling top to bottom, switching slices with each cycle. Cycle cycles through each slice, while bouncing a small version of the picture around the screen. Each effect is customizable in terms of speed. With all that, you can make some pretty nifty designs. Once you've perfected those, wouldn't you like the rest of the world to see them also? Well, with the included Distribution Wizard, that too becomes simple. Simply select one or more designs. Then, select a disk drive to store them to. Finally, enter a short witty message to show whoever installs the program. Then, click start. The entire process is automated and spits out a fresh disk with everything the recipient needs.
