What is Pratyush e-card? It is a configurable greetings card written in pure Java which can be customized for any occasion and for any one. Here are some screen shots of the Pratyush e-card. Here is one such image of a Pratyush card. The main page has a secenery (the user can put their own image in its place). Next to the scenery are the three lines of text message (user defined alongwith text, color of font, font size, background color) which can move either in horizontal or vertical direction. Below the moving message is a zone for static text message which can be displayed against a back ground image (if desired) and the user has full control over spacing of text , color & size of font, style of font, background color etc. At the bottom are two components, on the right is a message (usually a closing message but the user can customize it too) which is displayed in changing colors. To the left is an animated button which can display icons of users choice for the following events - when the user places mouse over the button, when the mouse is clicked and when the user withdraws the mouse from the button. When this button is clicked a frame pops up (size of the frame is again user defined) which displays a series of pictures in a fading away fashion , a typical screen shot of such display is given below
The user can put their images/pictures in any order they like plus it is ossible to cutomize the fading effect i.e number of fades per pictures, time for fading away and time to hld a full picture etc.

The Pratyush e-card has been designed with a graphical form which makes customizing the card very easy for the user , in fact a matter of child's play. The configuartion applet takes imput from the user in a tabular fashion and then generates the required HTML tag. Since this whole thing has been designed in pure Java so it is safe and secure for the person using the kit as well as for the person receiving it. It requires no bulky installation , no exe files . It utilises the existing browser and the JVM (Java Virtual Machine) of the browser for all its function and hence messing up with the system files unlike other e-cards kits available in the market.
