DMedia makes the Delphi developer's life easier providing full control over the variety of different audio/video file formats recognized by Direct Media layer of Microsoft DirectX. All files which can play in Windows Media Player including diverse MPEG and the newest Microsoft ASF formats can be played and easily managed in Delphi. Important note. The use of DMedia differs dramatically from just importing Windows Media Player ActiveX control. From the DMedia surface you place direct calls to DirectX Media routine (and more!) WITHOUT ACTUALLY RUNNING Windows Media Player.
