Spam Runner is a Microsoft Outlook plug-in that intelligently filters your incoming E-mail, removing spam from your Inbox. It uses a Bayesian algorithm that delivers a high level of accuracy and ensures that very few good mails are detected as spam.
Spam messages are stored for a number of days, configurable by the user, to enable the review of all detected junk mail in case of false positives.
The longer you use Spam Runner, the more accurate its detection ability will become. It is estimated that, for the average user, more than 90% of all spam will be eliminated after the first week. At the same time, less than 1% of good E-mails will be detected as spam.
The advantage of Spam Runner over many other anti-spam products is that it gives the user control over what types of messages are considered to be spam. Unlike with many blacklisting systems, Spam Runner allows the user to check all received mail and thus eliminates the chance of losing an important E-mail message.
Spam Runner also contains a White List feature that ensures that messages from some senders or domains are always delivered. An accompanying Black List feature ensures that messages from other senders are always treated as spam.
