Vypress Chat es una excelente herramienta de comunicación en red local que reúne en una sola aplicación los rasgos más tÃpicos de los clientes de mensajerÃa instantánea, y de las aplicaciones de chat mediante IRC.
Es muy fácil de usar y no requiere configuración alguna. Funciona con protocolo de red TCP/IP y no necesita de un servidor dedicado. Incorpora una interfaz muy intuitiva y totalmente personalizable en cuanto a colores, fuentes y diseño.
Puedes organizar tus charlas en distintos canales con otros usuarios, o en mensajes privados con un único usuario, igual que IRC. También puedes enviar mensajes masivos a todos los usuarios conectados.
Puedes cambiar tu estado (away, ocupado, no disponible...) igual que en un cliente de mensajerÃa instantánea del tipo ICQ o MSN, crear "macros" para frases que uses con frecuencia, filtrar mensajes e incluso usar algunos comandos tÃpicos de IRC como /nick, /me o /topic.
