The CCTV Lens Calculator will help you:
Select lenses, resolutions and camera positions for proper design of CCTV systems.
Calculate projections of the field of view in order to draw them on the location plan.
The projections are calculated in 3D coordinate system, depending on camera height and inclination, as well as the maximum distance of surveillance.
Select the best resolution of the camera for any specific task.
Calculate the distance from the camera to which the spatial resolution (pixel density)criteria are satisfied. The default values ​​of these criteria correspond to the spatial resolution of the five areas according to the CCTV Operational Requirements Manual 2009: Monitor and Control, Detect, Observe, Recognize, Identify.
