Use iSpeed to fine-tune your TCP/IP parameters to maximize throughput for your dial-up Internet connections. iSpeed has built-in optimal configuration finders that will set your configurations to those that will provide the greatest throughput on a number of different systems at the click of a button. It will also automatically calculate the optimal values for certain settings based on the values of other settings. iSpeed allows you to keep a history of your settings and throughput, then analyze the data and display the results as a line graph or bar graph. Other features include enhanced graphing capabilities, testing and monitoring of your connections from within iSpeed, and improved support for testing behind a proxy server. iSpeed provides a nice way to learn, hands-on, how things such as MTU, Time-to-Live, and other settings can affect your connection. It's also easier than hunting through the Registry and changing them manually. iSpeed includes a host of other powerful features, including support for all network adapters installed and initialized (modems, network cards, and so on), online application update checks and installs, automatic detection of all network adapters installed and bound to the TCP/IP protocol, internal testing and monitoring of your connections from within iSpeed via FTP downloads, and more.New features in this latest version include a graph to Testing tab to visually show a short history of the average throughput of the current testing session, an added option in Preferences to disable support for editing the Hosts file in iSpeed, bug fixes, and more.
