It has web interface with the similar look and controls on the local and apart computers. Customers see MPEG-4 coded picture and have complete control of the software using network that security computer can be operated with no monitor, keyboard, and mouse connected. Software`s modular configuration considerably increases reliability because all parts proceed as independent applications. If one part freezes, other components keep on working. For example if the `record` unit freezes, `watchdog` restarts it instantly that viewers don`t notice anything because they are viewing picture via a `playback` part. The program makes `cyclic` recording that the `hard drive full` situation never happens. The recording can be constant or it can be activated by activity, human face detection, or by schedule. The software has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty easy and performs on the surveillance pc as well as on remote workstation through Web interface. The program performs simultaneous video playback for event analysis from multiple cameras concurrently. Also recorded files can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded data can be encrypted and password protected.
