CheckSpace ist ein Programm, mit dem Sie Ihren Windows 9x oder Windows NT/2000 Computer ?berwachen k?nnen. So k?nnen Sie zum Beispiel den freien Speicherplatz auf Ihren lokalen und nicht-lokalen Laufwerken und Partitionen kontrollieren. Auch (Netzwerk-)Verzeichnisse samt ihrer Unterverzeichnisse k?nnen ?berwacht werden, soda? CheckSpace als ein Disk-Quota-Programm eingesetzt werden kann. Wenn das Laufwerk, die Partition oder das Verzeichnis ein von Ihnen bestimmtes Limit ?berschreitet, sendet CheckSpace eine Warn-Email mit einem entsprechenden Hinweis. Wird das Programm auf Windows NT/2000 Systemen betrieben, steht zus?tzlich eine Ereignisprotokoll- und Dr. Watson ?berwachung zur Verf?gung. Dies bedeutet, wenn neue Eintr?ge in das Ereignisprotokoll geschrieben werden, werden Ihnen diese per Email zugestellt. Tritt ein Dr. Watson Fehler auf Ihrem System auf, erhalten Sie einen detailierten Fehlerbericht, soda? Sie die Ursache schnell lokalisieren und beheben k?nnen. Die Anwendungs?berwachung kontrolliert, ob ein bestimmtes Programm ausgef?hrt wird oder nicht. Wird es ausgef?hrt besteht die M?glichkeit es zu beenden. Die HTML Report Engine fa?t alle CheckSpace Ergebnisse in einer ?bersichtlichen HTML Datei zusammen. Alle ?berwachungstypen haben eine Email Einzelbenachrichtigung. Damit und und mit dem Mail-To-SMS Gateways Ihres Providers kann CheckSpace alle Warnungen auch an Ihr Handy senden.
