MEmaster professional è un programma rivoluzionario che consente anche a non programmatori di realizzare rapidamente e senza sforzo vere e proprie applicazioni multimediali interattive.
Le applicazioni possono essere composte di un numero illimitato di finestre, che è possibile aprire contemporaneamente all'interno del desktop dell'applicazione.
Ciascuna finestra può contenere elementi multimediali che esauriscono la totalità dei possibili media utilizzabili, dal testo con stili tipografici ai video, dalle immagini ai modelli tridimensionali, dai documenti audio alle pagine html.
Tutti gli elementi multimediali possono essere resi attivi, dando vita ad azioni anche molto complesse che vengono definite in un ambiente guidato passo-passo, privo delle difficoltà solitamente associate ai linguaggi di scripting.
La progettazione dell'applicazione, la composizione degli elementi multimediali all'interno di ogni finestra, e la definizione delle proprietà di ogni elemento multimediale che ne consente la personalizzazione fino al minimo dettaglio, vengono realizzati per mezzo di un'interfaccia semplice e intuitiva, composta di palette sempre accessibili e di fogli di lavoro che mostrano in tempo reale le modifiche apportate.
Una delle caratteristiche più interessanti di MEmaster professional è la possibilità di realizzare modelli di finestre e archiviarli in una libreria sempre disponibile.
Le finestre create utilizzando come base un modello saranno già composte di tutti gli elementi multimediali desiderati, e dovranno essere soltanto personalizzate con i propri contenuti.
Il collegamento fra il modello e le finestre create è dinamico, per cui ogni modifica apportata al modello viene automaticamente applicata (se lo si desidera) a tutte le finestre ad esso collegate.
