Rispondi a questa domanda. Hai 20 CD con mp3 e altri file. Ciascun CD ha diverse centinaia di file. Ti serve "un particolare" mp3 fra tutti. Non ti ricordi nemmeno bene il nome del file. Quanto impiegherai a trovarlo? La risposta corretta e' 1 secondo, se hai ACAT Pro installato, o mezza giornata, altrimenti. ACAT Pro e' uno strumento professionale di catalogazione, che può davvero semplificare la vita se memorizzi i dati in tanti posti: funziona con dischi locali e di rete, rimovibili e anche virtual drives. Funziona anche se il disco non e'connesso al computer. Ecco come funziona: ogni volta che colleghi un drive inserisci un floppy, un CD o un DVD, il programma scannerizza il contenuto del media e memorizza informazioni sul suo contenuto. Estrae anche immagini e dati, permettendo la ricerca tramite l'uso di espressioni Booleane, nomi di file, descrizioni, note, parole, frasi, segmenti di testo, sommari di documenti Office, dimensione file e data di creazione. Questa utility e' assolutamente da avere se hai un'abbondante collezione di mp3 siccome ACAT Pro può cercare mp3 usando i tag IDE3 (come album o nome dell'autore, titoli delle canzoni, etc). Questo strumento e' di grande aiuto per trovare velocemente file di backup che sono stati memorizzati su "uno di quei CD...". In aggiunta il programma può anche identificare file duplicati. Potete confrontare i file per nome, dimensione, data o codice CRC32, cosa che rende realmente impossibile non trovare file identici o confondere file diversi. Mentre gestisce la sincronizzazione, il programma mostra una lista di file nuovi, cancellati, modificati. Si possono anche creare "cartelle comuni" che "contengono" un certo tipo di file, anche se i file sono nella realta' memorizzati in posti diversi (ad esempio su CD diversi). Tutte queste possibilita' ed altre ancora sono disponibili nella versione di valutazione gratuita (trial) di ACAT Pro's.
