Jusqu'à 4 joueurs peuvent participer au jeu. L'ordinateur choisit un mot et affiche par des blancs les lettres constituants le mot à deviner.
Le joueur dont c'est le tour peut essayer de deviner le mot en cliquant sur une lettre se trouvant dans la partie inférieure de l'écran ou en tapant la lettre correspondante au clavier.
Si la lettre est correcte elle disparaît du fil à linge et apparaît à l'endroit approprié dans le mot à deviner. Si la lettre se trouve à plusieurs reprises dans le mot elle apparaîtra à tout les endroits. Le joueur peut continuer à deviner le mot. Si la lettre est mauvaise, elle disparaît, et une partie d'une image sera dessinée sur le tableau noir.
Après un maximum de 10 lettres fausses l'image est entièrement dessinée. Le joueur suivant peut alors jouer à son tour.
Si un mot a été complètement deviné, le joueur obtient 100 points. Le joueur qui a le plus de points à la fin de la partie est le gagnant.
