Die Abstände können in Pixel, cm, inch, points oder twips gemessen werden und die Winkel im Grad- oder Bogenmaß.
Das Geodreieck ist nahezu transparent, so dass mit den Applikation darunter weiter gearbeitet werden kann.
Weiterhin bietet es eine Bildschirmlupe, die in Größe und Vergrößerung einstellbar ist und ein RGB Farbwert Fenster.
Darüber hinaus können Punkte, Linien, Rechtecke, Ellipsen, Freihandlinien Bilder und Texte als Elemente am Bildschirm gezeichnet werden.
Diese Elemente können als eigenständig lauffähiges Programm oder als Bild abgespeichert werden.
Mit Hilfe des "remote interface" kann Position und Drehwinkel des Geodreicks von einem anderem Programm gesetzt werden und die Messwerte werden an das andere Programm übermitteln (Windows Message based interface)
